 The New York City Yankees were the hunted throughout the Regulation 5 Draft on Josh Lowe Jersey Wednesday at the Winter Months Meetings in Nashville,  as they lost 3 players in the Big league part and four more in the minors part. 3 potential customers the Yankees opted not to shield on their 40-man lineup were chosen in the Major Organization section,  which calls for the picking group to put that player on their 40-man roster right away. The Oakland Athletics picked pitcher Mitch Spence with their pick. The Kansas City Royals chose bottle Matt Sauer,  that was a Leading 30 Yankees prospect. And,  the Texas Rangers picked pitcher Carson Coleman. 3 of the 10 players chosen in the MLB portion were Yankees leads. In the small organization section,  the risks are much reduced. Players picked in the MLB portion call for a $100, 000 fee. Gamers chosen in the minor league part just need a charge up to $15, 000. Still,  other teams concerned the Yankees for talent. In the first round,  the Los Angeles Angels selected very first baseman Eric Wagaman,  the Boston Red Sox picked catcher Michael Gasper and the Tampa Bay Rays selected bottle Michae Gomez. In the 3rd round the Pittsburgh Pirates chose Marcos Cabrera. The Yankees did pick two players in the minors part. In the preliminary they selected Colorado pitcher Gabriel Barbosa,  a 21-year-old righ-hander who is 20-16 in four minor-league periods after he was authorized out of the second round the Yankees chose Houston pitcher Kerwin Castro,  a right-hander that has MLB experience with the San Francisco Giants and the Chicago Cubs.
