I miss the local co-op games where you'd just sit on the couch with your buddies and play. Online multiplayer is great but it's not as good. Games such as "Castle Crashers" and "Overcooked" truly bring back that fun on the couch.

I'm nostalgic about the days of racing on split-screen games. "Mario Kart" sessions used to be my favorite part of my weekend. Although online multiplayer is awesome however, nothing beats the joy (and sometimes outrage) of racing with your friends.

It's always been my fan of indie games, mainly due to their unique concepts. "Hollow Knight" and "Celeste" are two titles that I've played over and over again. Big studios are great however, indie developers bring a lot of passion and uniqueness into the game.

For those who love an exciting scare, I highly suggest "Dead By Daylight". The adrenaline rush you get when you are chased or the thrill of catching the surviving person is unparalleled. Just a tip: maybe don't play it right before bedtime.

I've been dipping my toes into the world of visual novels recently. It's amazing how games can evoke such powerful emotions through just pictures and text. If you've never given them a try games such as "Doki Doki Literature Club" and "Steins;Gate" are definitely must-plays.

There's something therapeutic in sandbox games. Just started playing "Minecraft" once more after a few years, and the freedom to play and discover at my own pace is incomparable. It's a wonderful escape from the pressures of daily life.
