Are there any suggestions for games that are educational for children? I'm trying to find something for my niece that's entertaining and instructive. There's plenty of options, but filtering both the positive and the negative can be an issue.

I'm a big fan of old-fashioned games. Recently, I rediscovered the old Sega Genesis and started playing Sonic the Hedgehog again. There's something in the simplicity and nostalgia that strikes differently. Modern games may have the latest graphics, but they won't replace the charm of the classics.

The resurgence of couch co-op games is one that I am 100% behind. I just got "It takes two" and the amount of cooperation it requires is hilarious as well as difficult. If you have a gaming partner, this is a title you shouldn't overlook.

I recently was playing "Elysian Chronicles" and the depth of the story is truly unmatched! The game managed to immerse me in an world I was unable to leave. The graphics, storyline and the character development are all top-quality. It's not often that you find games that are so focused on the story aspect.

For those who enjoy an exciting scare, I highly recommend "Dead By Daylight". The thrill from being chased, or the satisfaction of being able to catch the surviving person is unparalleled. One suggestion: don't play it right at night.

I'm nostalgic about the days of racing with split screens games. "Mario Kart" sessions were my favorite part of my weekend. Even though online multiplayer is awesome but nothing beats the excitement (and occasionally a little outrage) of racing alongside other friends.
